Organization Potential Mapping
Discover what your people know and do not utilize – and whether the obstacle lies within their personal mindset or within the conditions created by the organization.
The Deliverable
Not an arbitrary catalog of training sessions. An organizational map across four quadrants and eight states: what is activated and at risk of burnout, what is blocked and by what, what people deliver naturally that has gone unrecognized, and what latent potential lies untapped.
Every state maps to a specific strategy. Development is then implemented with surgical precision rather than across-the-board generic training.
Process
Organizational mapping combines quantitative self-assessments via MAP4Y, structured qualitative interviews with key leaders, and contextual analysis of the organizational environment. The process includes upfront alignment on strategic goals, secure data collection, and executive debrief presentations to senior leadership.
What Follows
Depending on which states predominate: targeted development programs, coaching, executive mentoring, adjustments to organizational conditions, or manager enablement. The eight strategies determine the exact roadmap.
Data Privacy & Governance
An aggregated output is never an avenue for exposing individual profiles. The rules governing what is shared with leadership and what remains strictly confidential are established prior to launch – including minimum cohort size thresholds for secure data aggregation.
Who This Is For – And Who It Is Not For
Designed for organizations that do not want to merely slap labels on employees, but seek to understand what potential they truly possess and how effectively it is being mobilized.
Not suitable if the intent is to use mapping as a quick evaluative sticker. Or as a tick-the-box one-off exercise without genuine readiness to act upon what is discovered.
This definition applies to MAP4Y; other specialized advisory services of EMMA International can be engaged independently.
And one critical reality we state at the very beginning, never at the end: a significant portion of the barriers that mapping uncovers reside not within the people, but within organizational conditions and policies. If leadership is unwilling to hear or address these structural insights, mapping is futile – and we will be forthright about that before ever starting.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Will leadership see individual results?
No. Individual self-evaluations are strictly confidential. Management receives exclusively aggregated team and organizational data that guarantees full anonymity.
- What is the financial investment?
Scope and pricing depend on participant headcount, mapping level, diagnostic depth, duration of the developmental phase, and ongoing sustainment needs. A tailored proposal is prepared following an initial consultation.
- How long does the engagement take?
A typical organizational mapping cycle ranges from 4 to 8 weeks depending on company size and the selected scope of accompanying facilitation and diagnostic tools.
- Is this a psychological clinical test?
No. MAP4Y does not diagnose disorders and does not box human beings into rigid personality typologies.
